My friends, Felipe (@thefelipelobos) and Kaylin (@KaylinElise) both enjoy being on camera. So when it came to the weekend, we all wanted to head somewhere picturesque to hang out and grab photos.

The Mai Saigon Vietnamese restaurant was one of the locations that Kaylin put forward after a recommendation from her friend.

How to Get there

Located in the Mae Rim region, Mai Saigon is just a 35min drive outside of the center of Chiang Mai.

We followed directions on Google maps, which for the most part took us along the highway north.

We then made a right turn that took us through a pretty dusty old road until we ended up in some gated complex area. On the way back I think we made a different exit.

Photo Spots

The best feature about Mai Saigon is the wooden footpath through the lush green rice fields.

Otherwise, there are some cool spots against the building as well.

Definitely well worth the visit!
